Widler Architecture is a full-service architecture firm with nearly 20 years of experience spanning home design, historic remodels and commercial development throughout the U.S. and Europe. Widler Architecture is led by collaboration and communication, and we act as your advocate starting with the first meeting to the final walk-through. We are your partner throughout the entire process, from working with you on innovative design to coordinating with contractors, city and neighborhood organizations.
With experience designing high-performance, LEED certified projects, Widler Architecture can work with you to design a space with reduced environmental impact and carbon emissions. BRENT WIDLER, AIA
Driven by a passion for innovative design, Brent Widler is the founder of Widler Architecture. With nearly 20 years of experience, Brent believes in an attention to detail that will leave a lasting impression. With straightforward communication and thoughtful decision-making, Brent works to bring all ideas to life.
Prior to starting Widler Architecture in 2005, Brent spent time with TKA+Partners, WDW Design, Jordan Mozer and Legat Architects. An Iowa State University alumnus with a B.A. in Architecture, Brent resides in Downers Grove, Il with his wife Lynse, two sons and Chicago-style mutt, Tucker.
CRAIG STESHETZ
With a master’s degree in architecture from Illinois Institute of Technology, Craig has over 15 years of experience as an architect and project manager. He has previously worked with Studio Dwell Architects, Cordogan Clark & Associates, and TKA+Partners. Craig and his wife reside in Highland Park, Il. with their three children.
JULIJA VALLEE
Julija came to Widler Architecture with 10 years of project management experience from Hartshorne Plunkard Architecture where her passion for historic preservation developed. She is a licensed architect and LEED Accredited Professional with a Master’s degree from the University of Illinois – Chicago. Julija has a side passion project that involves acquiring vintage furniture to refinish and reupholster, which she sells at Chicago’s annual Randolph Street market!
Julija resides in Forest Park, IL with her husband and two young children.
BETH ANN BRAND
Beth Ann brings over 30 years of experience with a robust verity of office management principle to Widler Architecture. Her previous experiences at Pepperidge Farm, Vertical Chimney Care, World Distribution Services and Brand Solutions, Inc with managing Accounting, Customer Service and Human Resource departments she is able support our clients, office, and staff with ease. She brings strong organization and attention to details to our office which allows us to hold ourselves to our high standards.
Beth Ann and her fiancé reside in Plainfield, Illinois, have 4 grown children and three adorable, rescued mutts.
COLETTE COLEMAN
Colette graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a B.A. studying architecture.
She joined the Wilder Architecture team upon graduation and has been developing her experience and passion for the past three years. Colette enjoys spending time in the city of Chicago, where she currently lives.
