DESCRIPTION
Location: Wilmette, IL
Originally built in 1912, this family wanted to update the overall aesthetic while staying true to the traditional details of the home. The completed project included a new kitchen, dining room, family room and powder room along with new flooring, period-friendly casing, trim and base. To accommodate existing structural elements of the home, we had the kitchen counter pass through the white, shaker cabinets. Decorative wood beams were added to the dining room ceiling to add texture and detail.
