A Mission of Tradition and Comfort
Our mission was to transform this historic home into a healthy, efficient living space while preserving its traditional charm. The Byron House renovation overcame the challenges of an urban setting, creating an environment that is both comfortable and eco-friendly.
Sustainable and Thoughtful Renovation
To meet the efficiency, health, and comfort goals of the Newman Family, all lighting fixtures and mechanical systems were upgraded. Windows were replaced, and locally sourced materials, such as natural stones and local drywall, were used whenever possible. Notably, the project achieved a 92% construction recycling rate, underscoring our commitment to sustainability.
Preserving History, Embracing Modern Efficiency
The Byron House showcases that older homes can be transformed into energy-efficient, healthy living spaces while retaining their historic charm. This renovation is a testament to the potential of sustainable design and heritage home preservation.
