Location: Groton, SD
The homeowners where moving from California to work on the family farm in South Dakota. They wanted “beach house meets farm house” and ample space to accommodate their growing family including a guest suite. To better withstand the weather of South Dakota, durable composite materials were used on the exterior, while a large wraparound porch provides an inviting entrance and plenty of room for entertaining. The back of the home features a screened in porch off the family room with a double-sided fireplace for use year-round.
