STONE HOUSE

DESCRIPTION

Location: Yuba, WI

In the woods of Yuba, Wisconsin, comes an exquisite new design that showcases a charming and inviting space.

This project was a remodel and addition of a 100-year-old stone home on the property. Widler Architecture brought this old structure back to life as a guest house for the main house on this family compound.

With its rustic appeal, the stone exterior lends the home a sense of timeless elegance and blends seamlessly with the surrounding natural beauty of the Wisconsin greenery. The house exudes a warm and welcoming ambiance, inviting residents and guests to relax and enjoy the serene atmosphere.

Widler Architecture has crafted a thoughtful and functional layout, optimizing the available space to accommodate the family’s needs. The interior design maintains the charm of the exterior, incorporating natural materials, such as wood accents and exposed beams, to create a cozy and intimate atmosphere.

The design of this Stone House complements an existing Hunting Lodge barn that was a previous Widler Architecture project years ago. The combination of these unique spaces seamlessly blends into the pastoral and historical landscape and has truly brought the client’s dream retreat to life in Yuba, Wisconsin.
